State Visit from Bulgaria

The Republic of Bulgaria´s President, H.E. Mr Georgi Parvanova, and his wife Zorka Parvanova, arrived in Sweden Tuesday for a three day long state visit.

On Tuesday H.M. The King and H.M. The Queen hosted a private luncheon at the Royal Palace for the President and his wife. Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Carl Philip also took part in the lunch.

Visit to the Bernadotte Library


After the luncheon the President visited the Riksdag (Sweden´s Parliament) and met with speaker Per Westerberg, after which President Parvanova met with Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt at Rosenbad.

Mrs Zorka Parvanova, along with The Queen and Crown Princess, visited the Bernadotte Library where the head of the library, Göran Alm, talked about the library´s collections. The visit to the Library was followed by a presentation of the Mentor Foundation and its activities.
