After the Forum, Volvo and Austrian Kapsch gave a joint presentation on environmentally friendly technology, as well as hosted a seminar on renewable fuel.
At the Jewish Museum The Queen opened the exhibition "Josef Frank - Architect and Outsider." After the opening Her Majesty visited the exhibition "Swedish Design Secrets - People, Products, Processes" at the Designforum, MuseumsQuartier. The exhibition is organized by the Swedish Institute and displays Swedish industrial design in daily life, health and technology.
The Queen also spoke at the symposium “Children have a right to culture."
Austrian Chancellor Alfred Gusenbauer and the government invited The King and The Queen to a luncheon after which a visit to Vienna International Centre, the UN Headquarters in Vienna, was arranged.
There Their Majesties met with diffirent representatives of the UN in Vienna, including Mohamed ElBaradei (IAEA), Antonio Maria Costa (UNODC), Kandeh Yumkella (UNIDO) samt Tibor Toth (CTBTO).
The King and The Queen then met with the staff of the Swedish Embassy in Vienna and the Swedish OSSE Delegation. Their Majesties then attended a reception for the Swedish colony.
The day ended with a dinner hosted by The King and The Queen at the SAS Radisson Palais Hotel.
