Prince Carl Philip Opens “A Glimpse of Paradise"

On Thursday, November 1st, H.R.H. Prince Carl Philip opened the exhibition “A Glimpse of Paradise" at Hanaholmen in Esbo, Finland. The photographs, which were previously shown at the Museum Gustavianum in Uppsala, show Uppsala´s Botanical Gardens and were taken by Prince Carl Philip in connection with the Linnaeus Celebration.

Hanaholmen, a center for promoting Swedish and Finnish culture, was opened in 1975 by H.M. King Carl XVI Gustaf and then Finnish President Urho Kekkonen. The exhibition “A Glimpse of Paradise" is being shown at Hanaholmen until January 6th 2008.
