The Royal Family was also represented by Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Carl Philip and Princess Madeleine.
The King and The Queen welcomed the some two hundred guests in The Guardroom before taking dinner in The White Sea. Amongst the guests were the President´s official suite, representatives from the diplomatic corps, the Riksdag (Sweden´s Parliament), the government, the county and government authorities, as well as representatives from Swedish science, culture and from trade and industry.
The menu included salmon in three styles; sashimi with pickled black radish, yozo and coriander marinated salmon and paksoy wrapped salmon rillette, fillet of pike-perch with dill and pata negra, oyster velouté and champagne braised white cabbage. Arctic raspberry parfait with blackberry jelly and raspberry spoom was served for dessert.
