Programme for celebrations to mark the birthday of

H.R.H. Princess Madeleine

on 10 June

On Sunday 10 June, the 25th birthday of H.R.H. Princess Madeleine will be celebrated in the inner courtyard of the Royal Palace of Stockholm.

11.30: West Gate opens to allow the public to enter the inner courtyard.

11.42: The Swedish Army Drum Corps marches through the West Gate into the inner courtyard.

11.43: The outgoing Main Guard marches through the West Gate into the inner courtyard.

11.45-11.55: The Drum Corps plays welcoming music.

11.55: The incoming Main Guard marches through the West Gate into the inner courtyard.

11.57: The Head of the Garrison Department presents the Drum Corps.

12.00: H.R.H. Princess Madeleine comes through the East Gate, and a parade march is played to begin the congratulatory call.

12.00-12.20: The Drum Corps performs a display in honour of the Princess. The Music Corps and the Main Guards present her with flowers, followed by a round of cheers and fanfares.

12.20 (approx.): End of the congratulatory call in the inner courtyard.
