Changes within the Office of Ceremonies

In June 2010, H.M. The King agreed on a new structure for the Office of Ceremonies.
With effect from 1 August, the following apply:
  • The new Master of Ceremonies is Brigadier Jan E Warren, replacing Lieutenant Colonel Peter Forssman, who is retiring.
  • The new Deputy Master of Ceremonies is Colonel Kurt Svensson, replacing Brigadier Jan E Warren (see above).
  • Ambassador Magnus Vahlquist will continue to hold the position of Grand Master of Ceremonies.
