The King presents the 2017 Polar Music Prize

On Thursday 15 June, The King presented the Polar Music Prize to musician and composer Wayne Shorter and musician and composer Sting (Gordon Sumner) at Stockholm Concert Hall.

Performers during the ceremony included the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Hans Ek, singer Ane Brun, soul singer Gregory Porter, saxophonists Lennart Åberg and Fredrik Ljungkvist, and musician The Tallest Man On Earth.

After the award ceremony, a banquet was held at the Grand Hôtel.
