The King and Queen and The Crown Princess Couple hold a meeting with the Minister for Foreign Affairs

On Wednesday 13 September, The King and Queen and The Crown Princess Couple held an audience with Minister for Foreign Affairs Margot Wallström and State Secretary for Foreign Affairs Annika Söder at the Royal Palace of Stockholm.

During the meeting, Minister for Foreign Affairs Margot Wallström and State Secretary for Foreign Affairs Annika Söder spoke about Sweden's work within the UN Security Council, of which Sweden has been a member since 1 January this year.

Sweden will serve as a non-permanent member of the Security Council during 2017 and 2018, together with the five permanent members – France, China, Great Britain, Russia and the United States – and the nine other non-permanent members.
