The Crown Princess opens the Sweden International Horse Show

Motiv: The Crown Princess made her entrance at the Friends Arena in the Victoria range. The carriage with its harnesses and special civilian livery was a wedding gift from the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess of Baden to their daughter Victoria and Crown Prince Gustaf (the future King Gustaf V). The carriage is a calash, and was made in Paris in 1881. It has no driver's seat and is driven à la d'aumont, in other words with postilion riders on the left horses of the pairs. On Friday 28 November, The Crown Princess opened the Sweden International Horse Show which was held for the first time at the Friends Arena in Solna.

The Crown Princess entered the arena in a calash drawn by four horses to music performed by the Life Guards' Dragoon Music Corps.

The Sweden International Horse Show was opened when The Crown Princess gave the starting signal to Malin Baryard and her horse Jive, who jumped over an obstacle.
