The jury said: "As Sustainability Manager for Max, Pär has made fantastic efforts to boost diversity in the workplace and to show the way towards work for people with disabilities." The Prince then presented the Employer of the Year award to AQ Segerström & Svensson AB. The jury said: "The company has a well established strategy that at least half of the company's staffing assignments should be offered to people with disabilities." Stockholm City Mission was commended for its Blixtjobb initiative, which offers work to people who find themselves in a highly vulnerable situation involving addiction and homelessness. During the gala The Prince gave a speech, in which he said: "Those of you who are present today — and particularly our award winners — show that people with special circumstances can be linked together in the mosaic of diversity that our working life is and should be.
