Crown Princess opens new women's clinic at UMAS in Malmö

On Thursday 24 September, The Crown Princess opened the new women's clinic at the University Hospital, UMAS, in Malmö.
Hundreds of people had gathered at UMAS to attend the opening of the new women's clinic.

The Crown Princess was initially given a guided tour of the new clinic, including a labour ward, neonatal ward, gynaecological ward and fertility centre.

The inauguration ceremony was held at the main entrance following the tour. The Crown Princess opened the new women's clinic by cutting a symbolic umbilical chord between the clinic's outer doors, and a symbolic egg.
